Yessir, well aware of that site. Gotta tell ya, I spent a little over $1k on TR guides last year and it was the best money I've ever spent on fishing. Last Jan, I hired Eric Prey (focusedfishing.com) and we spent most of the day huddled together over his fish finder on the bow. I didn't catch many fish that day but learned a ton about the electronics and drop shot fishing.

I bucked up and bought a LCX37 like Babler has in that video and it's transformed my fishing. To say that I feel like I was fishing blind for all those yrs prior is an understatement. My Cougar has that LCX on the bow (moved it over from the old boat) and a 997si in the dash. I've transformed my fishing to be 60-70% focused on drop shot / spoon all yr long. What a blast...

I won't see you at the T's as I've only fished one tournament in my life...and that was over 12 yrs ago. I fish for the fun of it and the good time BS'ing on the water.

    Best to ya,
    edwin

I'm looking forward to getting back to TR in the coming weeks. I'm getting new flotation on the boat dock now so staying away / keeping the BCB out of harms way :) The project should be wrapped in time for me to head down for the week between Christmas and New Years.

I've only had the Cougar a couple months so far and my kids are itching in the worst way to get out on the water in the new to me rig. Hope to get them on the spoon bite and fill the well with some whites!

Just saw your message re: the McSticks and TRock. Good investment there. I was down just before Thanksgiving and was catching some solid keepers along windblown bluffs / chunk rock with the McStick. They were just barely hitting it, mostly only being caught by the back hook. Once the water cools a bit more, they'll eat the whole thing!

    Good luck

Thanks for the comment and the tip. I love Table Rock, drive past Beaver Lake evry time to go to Table Rock. Going to give those Mcsticks a try soon. Been having really good trips in November with FB head jig and spoon. Jim
